Development funding for 34

Our crime series 34, which we're developing with Agat Films Et Cie (Paris) and Unité de Production with author Kenan Görgün and dramatic adviser Katrin Merkel, receives 50,000 € from the German-French fund of Film- und Medienstiftung NRW! The fund supports the transnational, corporate development of fictional TV-series.

 

34 revolves around the police agent Idil, Istanbul's first female agent in a veil, and Murat, a corrupt cop who has lost faith in everything, above all in himself. Their case is more than complicated, even for Istanbul's measure: A dead Mullah in a brothel, and the whole city seems to be involved in some way. Idil can't trust anyone - except for her worn partner.
